SAT. SEPT. 27 – ST-LAURENT SENIOR’S WALK
On Saturday, September 27, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., the Marche des Aînés 2025 will take place at the Centre des Loisirs de Saint-Laurent. It’s a wonderful opportunity to celebrate and honor our seniors with a walk, brunch, and special activities. We invite all our members, especially families and grandparents, to join in—registration opens September 2 at 514-748-0943.
MON. SEPT. 29 – CHRISTIAN ENVIRONMENTAL WORLDVIEWS (Public lecture)
With Dr Janel Curry, President, American Scientific Affiliation. Janel’s talk will focus on her research on religious worldviews and their impact on views of nature. These have included how views of the relationship among God, humans, and nature affect our responses to climate change and natural disasters. This presentation examines the elements in religious worldviews that appear to be prominent in shaping the responses of religious groups to public policy options for addressing environmental issues. 7pm, Room 321A, McConnell Engineering Building, 3480 University Street. Janel has a PhD in Geography (Minnesota) and formerly taught geography and environmental studies at Calvin University. For more info, contact Joseph Vybihal.

The Boundaries Course is an emotional and spiritual journey into what makes relationships work. It’s an invitation and a challenge, to grow into God’s intention for healthy relationships. This is a multi-part course, with video content developed by Drs. Henry Cloud and John Townsend, who serve as Christian counsellors and clinical psychologists. Fee: $165.
