KIDS CONNECT

Kids Connect is our ministry for children ages 3-12. It is where we gather to grow in our relationship with Jesus and learn how to better love our neighbours. KC happens during the morning service every Sunday of the school year except the first Sunday of the month.

Come join the CMP Youth Leadership team! CMP Youth is our thriving youth ministry for high schoolers, ages 12-17. The youth meet during the school year on Friday evenings for games and service activities, and on Sundays during the morning service to participate in a lesson on the Christian faith. All youth and leaders remain in church the first Sunday of the month. In addition to these more regular meetings, we organize fall, winter, and spring retreats, as well.

TECH TEAM

Are you interested in Technology in general? Or maybe sound and video specifically? CMP uses a pretty wide array of technology to keep the services going each Sunday. The three areas of service are listed below in order of technical complication. But don’t let a little thing like “complication” stop you. If you want to join the team, we can check out what you like and what you’re already good at and see where the best fit might be. We currently have 4-5 people at each position, but we could use a few more as people do go on vacation or just need a break. Talk to Stephen about this and we will see about introducing you to the team leader for the next steps.

UNDAY SERVICE TEAM

Don’t mind being up front? This is the team for you! This team includes those who take part in the Sunday service as readers. We are always looking for people who are willing to read in either English or French. A third language is also welcomed! We are also looking for friendly faces to welcome people as they come in and to help answer questions at our Information Desk.

Our fellowship time after the service is an important part of the life of CMP. It’s not about the coffee, but about the chance to connect with others within the church. Being a part of this team is as simple as cutting apples or opening a bag of chips!
