FREEZING RAIN SUNDAY MORNING?

Environment Canada is forecasting freezing rain Saturday night and Sunday

morning. This of course raises safety issues. Sunday morning at 7am Chris Barrigar will send an email to the congregation indicating whether there will or will not be a service at the church. (If there is no service, we will do the service by Zoom, the link will be provided in the Sunday morning email.) So please check your email Sunday morning! (There is also no public transit this Sunday).

UPCOMING PREACHERS

Nov. 16 & 23 – Chris Barrigar

Nov. 30 – Sam Farrugia

FINANCES STILL A STRUGGLE!

Givings to date (Nov.14): $163,729; total budgeted givings to break even for 2025: $225,368. This means we are 27.3% ($61,639) short of our year-end needs, and we have just seven weeks to make this up. We are grateful for your regular giving, and for any additional giving you may be able to offer to help us break even for 2025!

FRI. NOV.21 – AN EVENING OF PRAISE AND PRAYER, 7:30PM

Join us for an evening of singing and prayer led by Paul Brady, for all ages and open to guests. There will be times of prayer between song sets; if you would like to be involved introducing/leading a prayer then please contact Paul at paulwbrady@gmail.com.

SAT. NOV.22 – CMP CLEAN-UP DAY

We need your help sprucing up the church! This is our postponed “Spring Clean” from May. If you are available to assist with the Clean-Up Day, we will be meeting from 10am to 1pm. If you would like to come and would need a ride to or from church, please email june@stmarkstpeter.org . There will be jobs for people of all ages and all abilities. Hope you can make it. Many hands make light work!

SUN. NOV. 30 – YOUTH HOLIDAY FUNDRAISING JARS – ORDER DEADLINE

Please support our youth in their efforts to raise funds for Youth Activities and to support the Angel Tree Christmas program, a project that provides Christmas gifts to children of incarcerated parents. Not only will you be able to cross names off your shopping list, but you would also be supporting the Youth Ministry of CMP.
