FRI. SEPT. 12 – SUN.SEPT.14: YOUNGER ADULTS (20s&30s) WEEKEND

This is a Service Project & Fellowship weekend. The main activity will be a service project to help Cedar Lodge (near Magog, where many CMP children go each summer for Junior Youth Camp) with its many end-of-season tasks to clean up and update the site. This could include some painting, light landscaping, woodworking, and lots of other things. The rest of the time we will be hanging out, with a couple times of worship and prayer, and just being in the great outdoors. Arrival Friday after dinner; meals include Saturday (3 meals) and Sunday breakfast. Cost: 35$/person. Fill out this form to let us know you are coming: https://forms.gle/vqDRpKimqbrE7BNe7. SUN. SEPT. 14 – WELCOME BACK TO KIDSCONNECT!

Dear families, welcome back to KidsConnect! KC Sunday morning classes resume on September 14th. KC is for ages 2-12. I am excited to welcome your child back or invite them to attend for the first time. Feel free to contact me with any questions you may have at children@stmarkstpeter.org.

SAT. SEPT. 20 – CMP ANNUAL APPLE PICKING & PICNIC 🍎

We would like to invite you to our CMP annual Apple Picking & Picnic event on Saturday, September 20th! This traditional fall activity is a wonderful way to enjoy the outdoors, share food, and spend time together as a community. The exact location will be announced soon.

As part of our outreach to refugees and newcomers, we want to make sure everyone can take part. To help us organize rides, please let us know if you need a ride or if you can offer a ride for carpooling.

SUN. SEPT. 21 – CMP FRIENDLY SOFTBALL GAME🥎

You’re warmly invited to join us for the second year of our CMP Friendly Softball Game! Come and enjoy a fun afternoon of sport, fellowship, and community spirit at Cousineau Park on Sunday, September 21st, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM.

Whether you’re an experienced player or trying softball for the very first time, everyone is welcome. It’s a great way to enjoy the outdoors together and build new friendships.

SAT. SEPT. 27 – ST-LAURENT SENIOR’S WALK

On Saturday, September 27, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., the Marche des Aînés 2025 will take place at the Centre des Loisirs de Saint-Laurent. It’s a wonderful opportunity to celebrate and honor our seniors with a walk, brunch, and special activities. We invite all our members, especially families and grandparents, to join in—registration opens September 2 at 514-748-0943.

 

SAT. OCT.18 – CMP ANNUAL COMMUNITY DAY, 9:30AM TO 4:30PM

Join us for our third annual community day, full of activities, food, fun, and fellowship. As well, for part of the day we will hear from speakers from CMP sharing their experiences living out God’s love in their daily lives. Book this date now; registration will open soon. QUEBEC INDIGENOUS PARTNERSHIP, AGES 18-30

Young adults of Montreal are invited to spend nine refreshing days this summer (May 30 to June 7) with Kanien’keha:ka (Mohawk) brothers and sisters in Kanehsata:ke, enjoying each other and learning what it takes to make good relations. Camp at Oka park. Spend the mornings working in the Gardens of Hope, the afternoons hearing history and culture from the Elders. Study Biblical theology and the worldwide movement of reconciliation in Jesus Christ. Make friends. Also, we are humbly seeking financial support to facilitate this project.
