Rue Decelles, between rue Leduc and Blvd. Decarie, may be closed for the next two Sundays, June 1st and June 8th. Therefore, parishioners may not be able to park in front of the church under these traffic and parking conditions. We hope this will encourage our church to fellowship earlier and longer!

JUNE 7 – CREATION CARE OUTING: PLANTING AT GARDENS OF HOPE

On May 4, we were honoured to welcome Karyne Wahsontiiostha Murray from Gardens of Hope Kanehsatake to CMP as our guest preacher. She has graciously invited us to visit the gardens near Oka and help plant this year’s crop. CMP will be assigned a row of tomatoes to plant and during harvest we will pick them, can them, and return them to the Gardens of Hope community as part of their food security program for Kanehsatake families!

On Saturday, June 7, we are going to plant. We aim to arrive at the gardens at 9:30a.m. (and will stay until midday or later), which are located at 204 Rang Ste Sophie in Oka (https://maps.app.goo.gl/UWxNTzvf39j6mUEa7?g_st=com.google.maps.preview.copy – take the dirt road behind the house). Kids are welcome!

Please contact Julia Smith-Brake (Julia.smith18@gmail.com) and let her know if you have means of transportation (and if you have any free seats in your car) or if you need a ride. Wear garden-appropriate clothing, bring a water bottle and your own snacks/food. No tools needed.

Time: 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM
📍 Location: Gohier Park, Saint-Laurent
