UN. NOV.02– CHRISTMAS CHOIR REHEARSALS
Christmas choir is now underway. Participation is open to anyone 12 and up. If you are younger than that, check with your parents and me, and maybe it’ll still work out!
If you sung in the past – come on back! If you sung somewhere else? Come and join us! If you’ve never sung in a choir but like to sing and can sing the same thing as the person beside you, come and give it a go!
There will be rehearsal tracks for the songs and taking the time to learn your parts will be necessary. Reading music is helpful but not necessary. Each section will have many experienced singers, so if you can sing, you will be amongst people who can also sing and this should work out just fine!
The performance will be on December 14 at the morning service. There will be 9 rehearsals in total. Six of them directly after the morning church service, the other three are on Saturdays.
If you can make 7 of these rehearsals, don’t worry about missing a couple. If you already know that you need to miss more than 2, please talk to me and I’ll confirm whether this can still work for you (it probably can).
Rehearsals dates will be as follows (all rehearsals at CMP):
November 02 – 11:45-12:45
November 09 – no rehearsal
November 16 – 11:45-12:45
November 23 – 11:45-12:45
November 29 – (Saturday 9:00 – 11:30)
November 30 – 11:45-12:45
December 06 – (Saturday 9:00 – 11:30)
December 07 – 11:45-12:45
December 13 – (Saturday 9:00 – 11:30) (FINAL REHEARSAL)
December 14 – Lessons and Carols
Let’s get ready for Christmas!
If you plan to participate, please email your name and phone number to stephen@stmarkstpeter.org. Thank you!
